Classical Guitar Concert performed by Simon Watson
14th September 2019
Classical Guitar Concert performed by Simon Watson in Sanctuary. Free Admission

Simon Watson made his classical guitar debut at the Royal Albert Hall in 1985 after winning ‘Youth makes Music’ and has recorded works, including his own compositions. He has performed on TV and radio with many of the world’s leading musicians, producers, composers and songwriters, covering a wide variety of musical genres, ranging through pop, blues, jazz and the classical forms he will be performing for us on 14 September.

His selection for the two-part recital will include classical works by Francisco Tárrega, Augustin Barrios Mangore, J S Bach, Issac Ali éniz and others; also flamenco and work by modern composers, including Stanley Myers. Light refreshments will be available during an interval of approximately 20 minutes.

We very much hope that Free Entry to the concert will enable those attending to make generous donations at the end of the evening, to be divided between the Organ Fund and a Charity of Simon’s choice which supports Tai Chi education and facilities.
